This is an amazing pot.I use it for everything from chicken and dumplings on the stove top to roasts in the oven.My mother has one she purchased in the 1950's that works as good as new today.Would recommend this roaster to anyone who enjoys good cooking and good eating.

after reading both the 15 and 18 inch roaster reviews i learned that these magnalites are made in china now and so the testimonies of magnalite quality over many years are no longer valid for these chinese models. what we need are reviews by people who have actually purchased these now available from china. apparently some reviewers of the 18 inch

I have had a magnalite roaster for over 25 years and recently purchased 2 of them this year for my children.Love the fact that you can cook with it on the stove or put it in the oven.It's awesome for a roast and chicken and noodles!
