Rating:  - It does the job.
Works fine, reads quickly. I guess the quality is not in top, as the first one that I have received could not switch to Fahrenheit. The second one works, we'll see for how long.

Opened package, turned thermometer on and nothing. Also no instructions on how to change battery, doesn't appear that it even can be changed. Either have to return or throw it away as it's not worth the postage to send it back. Rating required to submit message...no negative stars available.

I purchased this product but when I opened it to use it the first time, the thermometer didn't work.

I ordered this thermometer and when I got it, it would not turn on. I checked the battery and it was corroded. Amazon sent me a new one very quickly, but it also did not work, so now I am just going get my money back.

This is a fantastic thermometer.Yes, it may not be an "instant" reading; rather, it takes about 5-8 seconds to stabilize to a general temperature.It is not meant to be left inside the food in the oven... it says so specifically on the packaging.I don't think it would melt if you did that, but it would probably damage the LED screen.
Others have complained that it "only" reads up to 302 degrees, not 500.What are you going to be cooking that needs to be over 300 degrees anyway? ... Read More
