After several months and attempts of up-dates, chasing HP's support and web sites this simply is a good for nothing stuff. I tried to run it with an IPAQ hx4705 trusting in the good results I have from this pocket pc but, both keyboard and HP support as just deficient. Over $130 for such and item to be kept somewhere are not a good joke, I am surprise is still being offered without any attempt to correct the performance issues so much reported in HP web site and forums and other web sites. Rating: - Another HP Worthless Product
I have an HP iPaq 4705 and desperately wanted a keyboard for text entry.
Stupid me to buy the HP BT Keyboard. No On/Off Switch. Flaky connection. And after a year of repeated attempts at using the keyboard, 10 keys do not even register any more.And as others have noted: flimsy construction, a keyboard lock that locks even as you try to close the keyboard! Stupid design. Caveat Emptor!!

Yes, the previous reviews are true!This product does have some quirky flaws that need to be ironed out.I occasionally use this keyboard (twice a week) so I'm more than happy to go through the struggles that accompany it.If I used it on a daily basis, I believe it would drive me crazy.Read the previous reviews, know what you're getting, and be happy if you decide to purchase.I did, and now I'm just happy to not have to use the stylus to input all of my information!
Rating: - Don't buy this keyboard
I wish I'd read the other reviews.The keyboard remains "on" and drains your batteries 24/7/365.There is no on/off switch.You're not alerted to the need to remove the batteries after every use.
To reattach to the iPAQ, you have to enter a passkey.I forgot mine.There's no way to reattach without it.I can't unload the software.I'm going to throw the keyboard away and write off the purchase price as a loss.

Looks cool.The manufacturer said it could work.I couldn't make it happen.Maybe you can.good luck.I have iPAQ 4350.Had to return it.Beware if you buy one.
