I researched steam irons on Consumer Reports.This model was recommended and had very high ratings in performance.I love this iron. I purchased this iron for my wife who has been ironing my clothes for more than 40 years.She tells me that it a fabulous iron, the best she has owned. This is the best iron I ever owned. If you thinking about buying this iron get it. All you have to do is look at the tag in your clothing, set the iron, wait for the beep, and iron. Great steam, on leaks, and it tells you when it needs to be cleaned.I hope they never stopping making this one. It's GREAT!

My old iron was useless.I would iron clothes, they would look ironed andI'd hang them up.I would come back a few hours later and they are all wrinkled looking again.I hated ironing!
