Rating:  - Gross taste.
I love chocolate, but this tastes gross.I learned pretty quickly that it's also bad for my digestive system.It's way too overpriced and it's actually unhealthy.Any good athlete shouldn't be eating this.

First I want to say I'm not a big fan of protein bars in general, I find most of them dry and tasteless. However these are moist and flavorful. Unlike some posters I didn't find them to be chalky at all. I love chocolate and find these to be a terrific and satisfying replacement for candy bars and with the protein I can feel good about this product as either a meal replacement or a snack.

I have to agree with "R.Katz" They are incredibly chalky and cardboard like. They also have a strong dark chocolate taste. I don't particularly enjoy dark chocolate; those that do might enjoy these. The bars I received were well within their expiration date.(10 months to go) OK but certainly not the best Balance Bar flavor.

We eat these in different flavors daily. And @ $15.82 with Super Saver Shipping they're about the same price as Wal-Mart, when Wal-Mart has them.
