Very shear, perfect for layering. It is exactly as the picture depicts. Meant to fit snuggly so if you like loose buy one at least 2 sizes bigger.

I bought these to wear under my scrubs during the colder weater and they were perfect.I also started wearing them under fleeces on especially cold days and they are thin enough to not feel bulky, but still give you extra warmth. I followed some other reviewer's advice and ordered a size larger than I usually wear and it is perfect.I want one in every color.

Very light colors are sheer enough. I think "sheer" more means "semi-transparent color" rather than "totally see through", as some customers expect to get. You won't get totally see through top, unless it's made of cellophane. :) I put light yellow top over my naked body and you should of seen my boyfriend's face. :) These tops are very sexy. I recommend 1 size up, they run small.
