I sprayed the pan with a non-fat aerosole spray before filling and muffins (corn) still stuck.I am not happy with the pan.The holes are small and the bread difficult to remove.

I bought one of these to try out (I've been cooking more with cast iron cookware - Lodge Logic.)After making a half-recipe of blueberry muffins, I went ahead and ordered a second one so I'd be able to make a dozen at a time.You need to heat the pan along with the oven, but it makes a muffin with a better-textured outer surface than the regular muffin pans I had been using.The size of the muffins is a bit smaller than in my other (non-stick) pans, but I put the whole recipe for a dozen in two ... I love Lodge cooking products but I do wish that I had paid more attention to the size of this pan.I plan to order at least one more pan so it won't take quite so much time to make a batch of muffins!

Lodge is a great name for cast iron. I love all of my pieces, and the price I paid for them here on Amazon is part of that reason.
I ordered 2 of these muffin tins when they were on sale, not checking the reviews first. I agree with them now though, these are rather small muffin pans. They make a medium sized muffin. They do cook well and are a breeze to clean up, but I had hoped for a larger size in order to do a full batch of muffins at once with my 2 pans.
