I've seen similar reviews on this product....that the top heating element fails within about a year's time.This is a design flaw.I've also heard that there is no way to get a replacement part.
I would not recommend this product unless you want a toaster oven that only lasts about a year.

We have only had this oven less then two months, but it has performed as advertised so far.It is a great toaster and everything that we have put it it to bake or broil has come out successful. We are full time RVers and this unit stays on our counter top and makes preparing meals simpler.

After reading the rave reviews, I ordered one to be delivered the next day. It arrived damaged so back it went and I immediately ordered a replacement.
It arrived undamaged but when I turned it on for a 15 minute try out, as suggested, it produced so much heat that I'm afraid we'll get burned. The back of the oven next to the wall was dangerously hot. Also, the door does not close--you can see into the oven at the bottom right when the door is closed--major source of heat loss. Rating: - Good service for the price
We have to remember to keep the timer set to Stay On for foodstuffs that take longer than 30 minutes to cook. And too, the size of the oven makes it necessary to use smaller cooking utensils as in quick bread baking. Otherwise, it's a great product and a fantastic price. The rotisserie works GREAT for Cornish Hens or small fryers. That was the first thing we tried and the chicken was juicy and tender. We love this product. You did it again George! We have the grill too.
