Rating:  - upper or lower case letters?
Just confused by the pics. Does this come with upper or lower case letters? or both? i'm looking for one of the leap frog items with lower case letters.
Rating: - Letters are not interchangeable with Fridge Phonics
I don't have a lot to say about the Fridge Words because we just received it.However, I wanted to post that the letters are NOT interchangeable with the Fridge Phonics (at least not with the older version with the frog on it-we do not have the new Phonics version with the sun).The Fridge Words letters are smaller than the Fridge Phonics letters and neither works with the other.
Rating: - Great toy to grow with your child
Bought this when my daughter was 1 and bought another pack of lower case letters to reinforce both upper and lower cases. Used the letters on the fridge as phase one so she would learn letters, upper and lower, and sounds. The Word Whammer is excellent because it really does grow with your child - at 1 she was identifying letters, at 2 she was learning sounds and beginning to play games - at almost 3 she is learning to read basic words and hunt for letters and is experimenting with rhyming. Hi, I just received this item on amazon last week, just wanted to point out a few things:
1. You will notice in the product images are 2 products, the Word Whammer and the Word Builder, though this listing is for the Word Builder.
The Word Builder is the updated version of the Word Whammer.
However, when I recieved my order from Amazon they sent me the wrong product, they sent me the Word Whammer at first!
