Rating: - Fiber is Fiber I picked up two of these cables for my new Home Theater setup and as expected, I am very pleased.The sound quality through my Sony HTIB is incredible.As long as you are careful with the cable (i.e. No sharp bends) you should not have any issues.We actually use the same thickness of Optical cable in our Telecommunications equipment at my work and it is as reliable as you could imagine.
No reason for a thicker or more expensive cable.This does the job perfectly!!!
