This cute handheld milk frother is fun and easy to use; British celebrity chef Nigella Lawson recommends it over steam-driven frothers. Plus, in addition to its most popular use--creating delicate foam for homemade cappuccinos, lattes, or hot chocolates-- the Aerolatte milk frother can be used for other, equally yummy treats. An enclosed recipe sheet offers ideas for fruit 'shakes' and coffee frappes that can be made with any kind of cow, goat, sheep, soy or rice milk! Some restaurant chefs even froth milk to foam garnish earthy soups.
The frother is easy to use, with a simple black toggle button to turn it on. Hold the stainless steel head just below foam level to keep froth building. The shape of the steel-toned, satin-finished handle is curved in the right places and flattened on the sides for a comfortable grip. When it's time to replace the batteries, a black ridged cover slides off to reveal the battery chamber. (It’s important to use alkaline batteries with the Aerolatte milk frother.)
To clean, turn the frother on and dip the whisk in hot soapy water; rinse well, and turn again briefly to spin dry. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth; do not immerse handle in water. The whisk is not removable from the battery handle. The milk frother measures 8-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches. Two AA alkaline batteries are included, as well as a recipe and instruction sheet. Excellent frother. Sure, it's an extra step to heat the milk, but the stiff form is well the additional step.

I saw that this product had many glowing reviews so that is why I bought it. Mine arrived, package crushed, but frother intact.I think this is a piece of junk.It's poorly made (in China)of the cheapest plastic I've seen.I wonder how long it will last.

I have owned my Aerolatte for over four years and it's still going strong. There is little maintenance because I wash it immediately after use and allow it to dry before putting it back in storage. It's so compact and light, I even took it to Italy with me!

I drink my coffee with milk and I used to treat myself with a latte at "the" coffee shop every now and then, but now I use my wand.Itmakes every cup a true treat and it is fast and easy.I use it every morning- I have a very small ceramic pitcher I pour a little milk it, stick it in the micro for 44 seconds, stick the wand in the milk for about 10 seconds then pour it on top of my coffee- awesome!!!Highly recommended- I even bought my sons one!

I discovered the aerolatte in Paris this summer at an apartment where I was staying. I couldn't find them there, but did find them on Amazon and purchased some as gifts to give upon my return. I love mine! I make my own strong coffee at home each morning and don't want to mess with an expresso machine. This frother is easy and reliable - just warm the milk up in the microwave, froth and in seconds I have foamy latte without the mess and clean-up.
