Sanyo's convection oven combines the best of powerful convection cooking, baking and toasting with a stylish, stainless steel design. The convection oven features full-width heaters on top and bottom and twin convection inlets for rapid and even heat distribution. It keeps track of the cooking progress with its 40-minute digital timer and lighted countdown indicators. Use it to cook meat and poultry dishes, bake pies and casseroles, toast up to four slices of bread at once and reheat leftovers. The width of the opening is 10-in. wide - large enough to hold a 10-in. pizza or a 9-in. pie. The panel on front offers one-touch toasting for heating one, two or three-to-four slices of bread for perfect browning every time. It even allows for bread that's frozen. The temperature ranges from 180- to 470-degrees F for precise baking. For easier access to hot baking sheets or pie pans, the oven's rack automatically slides out when the door is opened; remove the oven rack completely for easy cleaning. Included with your Sanyo convection oven is a nonstick oven tray and crumb tray and an English/Spanish instruction manual with recipes.

I really like this toaster oven, an opinion reflected in the fact that after buying one for youngest daughter's college apartment, I bought another for myself when our old Black & Decker one died, and recently acquired a third for my older daughter who just graduated from college. I always review consumer reports before buying appliances and this was highly rated. It is indeed a good product and I have been quite pleased with its performance. The controls are very easy to use for both the toaster and the oven. One word of caution: the top gets very hot and one should be careful not to keep any inflammable items on it. The removable pan underneath is very easy to clean, as also the stainless steel housing.

My new Sanyo Toaster/Convection Oven is fabulous. I have a kitchenette, and this is my oven. My frozen chicken pot pie baked perfectly, and I'm going to try baking a cake soon. It is also a great toaster. I was worried about how hot the stainless steel got on the outside but I'm please to say that it's not too bad and cools off quickly. It was helpful for me to research on-line on how convection ovens work which helped me select my baking pans. This is a great appliance at a reasonable price.

I bought this sight-unseen because it was rated a "Best Buy" by 'a leading consumer magazine' (whose initials are CR).
I was not disappointed. It's dead-simple to use and does a terrific job on everything from toast to reheating pizza.
After years of putting up with inferior toaster ovens (out of habit), finding one that works this well is a refreshing change.

Bought this toaster oven after having a more expensive DeLonghi for about two years. The DeLonghi had a dial-type timer that quit working as so many reviews of similar products have indicated. This toaster oven has an all-digital timer with no moving parts, so there is no dial timer to wear out (the dial on this toaster is used only to set the toasting time.
