Amazon.com Product Description: Timex gives its signature Ironman Triathlon multi-function, performance sport watch a sleek new look that's a great fit for both men and women. Featuring a full complement of athletic timing features and a striking profile, the Timex Triathlon Sleek T59201 has a metallic silver resin case that's complemented by a uniquely styled, slim profile black resin strap. It features three alarms that can be set for daily/weekday/weekend/weekly alarms, two time zones, an all-day white reflector display for easy reading even in direct sunlight, and water resistance to 100 meters. Sport timing functions include: - 100-hour chronograph with lap/split
- On-the-fly recall of lap or split
- Training log stores workouts by date, with best lap, average lap, and total segment time
- Total run format/synchro timer maintains total activity time (less time paused during workout) and overall running time
- Automatic interval repetition counter
- Forward or backward setting
- Built-in setting reminders
- Top pusher for easy access to lap and split
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.
Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Durable, easy to use, and comfortable This watch survived six weeks of anthropological field work in The Gambia (West Africa) during the rainy season.Sweat, dirt, and downpour did not destroy it.The "alarm" feature can be set on "repeat," sounding in intervals, which is very useful for behavioral observations or for athletic activities. In "civilian" life, it's terrific for timing runs.It fit the wrists of both members of the lab team. The only damage suffered was that the silver paint around the face chipped away (it's gray ... Rating: - Definitely well worth the money...a very nice watch! Excellent watch and well worth the money!Makes my sailboat racing that much more efficient and very comfortable to wear d/t it's small size and light weight!!One thing I would like to see in a watch this size though, would be to have the real time showing in the corner while the timer is going both in the main window at the same time, so I don't have to go back and forth and take the chance of interrupting the timer.
Rating: - Excellent I love this watch!I just began running again after 10 years and joined a running group training for the half-marathon.This watch is great for the Galloway method of training, esp. the alternating timers. I can set it for 2 minutes running and 1 minute walking with continuous or interrupted repeats.Easy to use and program!
Rating: - Great watch, terrible band Short story:great watch with great features (two time zones, multiple alarms, countdown timer, plus standard stopwatch, time/date)... but the band sucks and is NOT replaceable.
Unlike other reviewers, I have no problems with water, even though I wear mine in the shower daily and pool a time or two per week for laps (consistently for 18 months now).I love the countdown and repeat timers to set my pace and keep my workout moving (or cooking reminders, or naps:).Indiglo is a bit ... Rating: - A good watch. I'm on my second one of these, and I only had to replace the first one because I fell down stairs and the band became damaged, but held up for a good 3 or 4 months after it happened. Very sturdy and the battery lasts forever. The only criticism I can give it is that the lighter colored parts of the band discolor after a while, particularly on the inside of the wrist, but for a watch I can wear all the time, I'm extremely happy with it. It's sleek enough that I don't feel awkward wearing a sports watch ... Read More
