(This is for the Version 2 adapter.I don't know if subsequent revisions may be improved).
We have several wireless computing devices on our 802.11b/g home network.Of all these devices, this card has (by far) the most reception problems no matter where you place it.I have a Dell laptop for my work and I can put two other cards in it and almost never lose connection.With this card, I seem to drop out every few minutes (which is a shame because my other cards are still only 802.11b ... After installing my new modem and router, I inserted this card into my laptop. It installed much quicker than expected, which was a pleasant surprise, and it works great.
