They are scented with only 100 percent pure essential oils and contain no synthetic detergents, foaming agents or preservatives and are vegetable based and cruelty free. All cylinder bottles are now made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, a marketplace first pioneered by Dr. Bronner's. this is an all natural soap product, and I am very happy with it.User bewared if the smell of mint is not prefered, choose another scent.

It took me several years of passing over this product, because I was a little put off on the weird space-ship is landing language that is crammed onto the bottle. I tend to have dry skin, so I was buying body washes with moisturizers. They did soften my skin, but I wanted something that would just clean without drying. This product has lived up to the reviews, and the Vitamin Shoppe price is the best. I don't clean my floors, windows, dishes, etc. with it, nor do I use it as shampoo or toothpaste, as some other reviewers have. I never intended to. This soap is by far the best on the market.It has so many varied uses.I wash my body and hair with it, fine washable garments, and even clean with it in place of some artificial concoction that is harmful to me and the environment.It only takes a dab, and a large bottle goes so far!The scent is pleasant, and doesn't linger like perfumed soaps.
