Very nice construction and a very convenient size - a pound of pasta fits perfectly. Works very well on our flat-top stove. The only drawback I can find is that the main handle is a thin piece of steel about 1/4" thick and 3/4" wide. Given you'll have a lot of weight with a large pot like this, one handed operation tends to dig into your hand and you don't have enough to grab to tip the pot. Bought this pan recently from Amazonfor $97 with free shipping: a bargain considering it retails from stores (and KitchenAid's website) for $140. Incidentally, Amazon are now showing that this pan should retail for $175.
