Rating:  - Not a watch for us who wear cheaters!
I purchased...then summarily returned. It was a moment in my life where I felt my age. Without my reading glasses I could not get my wrist far enough away from my eyes to read the face of this watch. Sad, but true. Amazon does not sell arm extenders.

I am surprised that after 10 years this Timex watch is still available. I purchased it again since it lasted over 8 years and is a beautiful long lasting watch.

I was looking for a moon phase watch... ie. a monthly showing of the different phases of the moon..
On this watch, the moon comes up at night and the sun in the day.It was also a smallersize watch than I was expecting.

My oldest daughter, (grown up and single Mom of a mid-teen daughter of her own), has a small collection of nice inexpensive to mid-range watches. Some dress, some casual and some sport. Rating: - Nice watch, a tad small
I didn't have any trouble with the band fitting as mentioned (and I'm definitely not 11)in some other reviews, but the face was a tad smaller than I was expecting for a moon phase watch, Still makes a nice watch that I can recommend.
