I love this.I have wanted a new one to replace a hand me down.And, low and behold amazon had it for me. I think it's the perfect weight to hold the bacon down, without squishing it.Bacon fries up flat and it's easy to turn over. The size is good.I like the round better than the rectangular ones.Hard to find a retangular pan... :)Follow the directions on the box for seasoning cast iron.I wash mine in the sink and put it right back on the heat to make sure it's dried and re oil it. ... A much larger bacon press that will work perfectly in a larger pan with a larger amount of bacon!

Love it.A bit irritating to clean (isn't that pretty much always the case with bacon grease?) but it really does the job and is attractive enough that my wife doesn't object to having it sitting on the counter near the stove.

I enjoy using it. It browns the top of what you're cooking as well as the bottom, at the same time. No need to turn over. It's also light enough for me (my choice), others might want a heavier press. The wooden handle doesn't get hot, unlike the more heavier models with metal handles.
