These storage containers are attractive and glass is the current recommendation for use in a microwave, which is why I purchased them.A major drawback is that the lids are NOT microwavable.I would not have purchased them had I been aware of that fact.Unfortunately, you have to read the fine print to discover this particular inconvenience.They are heavy to carry to work for lunch and you have to push the center ... Rating:  - Love these bowls - second set in 25+ yrs
Purchased my first set of these about 25 years ago. Finally the last one broke when I dropped it on my foot (owww). So glad to replace them. Sturdy and safe food storage. Clear, clean, no surfaces to absorb odors or emit chemicals. But heed the instructions - don't microwave the lids. I didn't,but I've done it to other plastic lids before, with very bad results.
Rating: - Nice Bowls BUT
Like the bowls BUT the largest bowl lid does not fit tight. And all the lids have deep grooves around the edges (inside and outside edges) that hold water.
Rating: - Great Glass Option
If you are looking for something to replace your plastic containers - this is a great option. Mine came very quickly and the quality of the product is excellent. This set is well designed and they can sit within each other to take up very little space. The pictures don't show it butall three are resonably sized - I am happy with my purchase and unlike the other review amazon packed mine very well.

Amazon did a lousy job packing these for shipment.The three dishes were nestled inside each other with absolutely NO cushioning inbetween -- no paper, no bubble wrap, nothing . . . hence the middle dish was smashed to smithereens.I don't have the time or money to be mailing broken glass back to them (nor do I think it is fair or safe to the post office or Amazon personnel who would have to deal with the shards).
