Editorial Review:
Product Description: An omelette for one, scrambled eggs on the side or a perfectly cooked fish fillet - just a few good reasons to have this Skillet ready and waiting. Part of the Classic Ceramic Titanium line, this omelette pan features a pressure-cast aluminum body to ensure even heating without warping. The ceramic titanium compound is super-heated then fired onto the pan's exterior for an extraordinarily hard surface. The interior surface is then coated with a nonstick compound that withstands even metal utensils. The spring-lock handle is completely hygienic and designed to stay cool as you cook. Overall, this omelette pan is one of the highest quality pieces you can add to your kitchen. For nearly 50 years, Scanpan Denmark has been at the forefront of inventing advanced cookware technology to make life easier both for the hobby chef and the serious cook. Scanpan has been consistently rated 'Best Nonstick Cookware' by consumer publications since 1987. Its new, improved cooking surface is now dishwasher-safe.
Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Underwhelmed After extensive research before our wedding we decided to register for Scanpan products to fill out our cookware.Just over three years later the three pieces we use almost daily are all failing. Two fry pans and a saucepan all have extensive bubbling or breaks in the nonstick.Particularly irritating is the saucepan - we frequently put a steamer basket in it for vegetables and the stainless legs (with rounded, polished feet) appear to have worn a circle in the nonstick. This was evident at a ... Rating: - Try it once and you will be hooked! I am an avid cookware collector. Some women buy handbags, for me it is cookware! I have tried almost everything. First, I bought only this frypan and the grillpan. Both were excellent! So I ordered almost everything else that they made, There were no hot spots, meat and fish browned beautifully and clean up was a breeze. I cooked Japanese, Chinese, French and Italian foods and everything turned out great. My dinner guests have gone out to buy Scan pan too! I bought a wok for my mom and she too says ... Read More

Rating: - You'll love this cookware! Scanpan is wonderful. We bought a saucepan last year, and we are hooked. This skillet is ideal size for sauteing, as well as portion control when you cook breakfast! Clean up is, as they say, a snap. Really. Well worth the cost, too. We will be adding to our set, I'm sure.
Rating: - Does not live up to the hype We got a large sauce pan, 1 small and 1 medium size fry pans. I was very excited the first time we got our Scanpans. I saw and read about the new technology surrounding this product that supposedly to be non-stick for many years. Now we only have the big sauce pan left.We have to throw away the 2 fry pans. Well, to give it some credit, they lasted a couple of years before it started to peel off (actually not peeling off like a teflon. It starts to have some tiny holes on the ... Read More
