The DeLonghi Alfredo Indoor Grill utilizes an embedded heating element to deliver heat evenly throughout its cooking surface. The die-cast aluminum grill plate has traditional raised ridges for perfect searing of steaks, burgers, frankfurters, and more. The grease drips through slotted openings and is collected in a drip tray below the grilling surface. The grill itself is recessed in the unit to prevent excessive splattering, and a tempered glass lid also acts as a splatter shield, while keeping heat and moisture in the cooking area to prevent foods from drying out. A variable heat control dial provides settings from 1 (keep warm) to 5 (450 degrees). The lowest settings are well suited to slower cooking or more delicate items, such as fish fillets. At the highest setting, you can quickly sear meats and seal in juices. The large 12x16-inch cooking surface accommodates up to six medium burgers or two large steaks in a single batch. Although the lid does not allow adequate room for roasts or whole chickens, thick cuts of beef, spare ribs, and hearty chicken breast pieces are no problem for this unit. A cooking guide in the instruction book gives approximate times for different food items. You can also use the Perfecto Grill to reheat previously cooked food or keep cooked foods at the ideal serving temperature. The base and handles are made from cool-touch plastic for safe handling. Both grill pan and drip tray are coated with a non-stick surface, which means foods won't stick and cleanup is easier.1500 watts

When the weather is too cold to stand outside over the gas grill, fire up the Perfecto indoor grill instead. I love this grill!I am an outdoor grill enthusiast, and this grill comes very close.I found it to sear, and also cook to my satisfaction, food on the first try.Of course, food cooked on my indoor grill doesn't get caramelized or smoked like over coals or an open flame, but the taste factor ranks just as high.I have yet to be disappointed, and if great care is given, I don't think I will be!!

You will love this product! Put it on top of your stove and turn on the fan.The meat cooks evenly, the top helps large pcs. of chicken cook faster.The flavor is delicious.You can use it year round...how nice to see snow outside and have BBQ Chicken, or steak cooking inside.It's great for shrimp, peppers, and zucchini, too!

Rating:  - Not hot enough
I have only used this product once to cook Turkey Sausage. Even on the highest temperature the grill did not seem to get hot enough and when I turned it down per the instructions it took forever to cook. Im not pleased with this product but will try it again keeping the Temp on high.

I was a little worryied about a product that didn't smoke because my parents had a electric grill and was unhappy with, but to my surprise it works great. It takes a little time to wash if you use Dawn Disolve on it makes alot easier.

The Delonghi BG24 Perfecto Indoor Grill is great. Follow the directions; HEAT IT UP for 5 or 10 minutes before you use it. As with most indoor grills it's advisable to use the lid to keep the splatter down and keep the heat in.
