I purchased 3 of these SD/256 cards to go with my digital camera. While out walking the river, one of the cards slipped from my pocket and landed submerged in a puddle beside the stream...(I carry my extra cards with me because I also shoot video on my camera, which eats up space fast).. The small plastic case was partially open on one corner, so it immediately filled with water. I brought the card home, and figuring it was ruined anyway, rinsed it off under the faucet.
