I love it!I had a cheap little steamer basket prior to getting this.While it did the job, I hated cleaning it.There were always little pieces of broccoli or whatever stuck in those overlapping holes.And I steam a veggies a lot - Just about daily.While babysitting and cooking for my niece and nephew, I used their mom's Cuisinart steamer - What a difference!It held more and it was so easy to clean!I couldn't find the exact one she had, so I settled for this one and have been happy with ... I ordered the Cuisinart Chef's classic Universal Steamer with cover when purchasing the 10-pc. stainless Cuisinart cookwear. The basket is deep which I really like and I could not wait to get rid of about six of those horrible little collapsing steamer baskets I was using! This steamer holds so much more food and the food does not fall into the hot water in the pan. It was thoughtful of cuisinart to include the lid to go with this piece and I highly recommend it.

I love this steamer. It can take a small amount of vegies. They come out crisp and warm. I bought another one for $19.99 the day before. Amazon jacked the price right up on me WAH! I bought it anyway. Cuisinart is awesome cookware.
