In the military I had a set, you know, avoid the long never ending lines at the barber shop. No buzz cuts, just a regular hair cut. I work from midnight till morning now that I'm retired; too tired to go out and get my hair cut. I wash and towel dry the old mop, bend over the toilet and sheer off the hair. This is a wonderful clipper set the blades are sharp and the motor is not at all loud, as described by another reviewer. I was a bit trouble by that review, but I am very glad I now purchased the clip-n-trim set. I have already performed 3 haircuts on my little ones and will be on my second round soon.In other words I have already passed the pays-for-itself point and now on the money saving round. I have used a Wahl clipper with the numbered guides like this for many years to cut the hair of my four boys. It is reliable and always does a great job. I save at least $350 a year, and the guys look great. Takes about 20 minutes at home (I do a scissor cut on top after clipping the sides, but it's even quicker when you clip the whole head)... and that beats having to drive somewhere, wait in line, pay at least 15 bucks and drive home (and then sometimes having to get out the clipper anyway to correct ...
