It's an excellent item; good quality. The only complaint is you do not ship this item to Puerto Rico. So, I had to buy it to my aunt in NY and then she sent it to me. It was expensive.

My old gasket didn't fall apart.It just went missing.This replacement works great.My pressure cooker is sealed, and my 45 minute pot roast is the envy of all who see it.

Well I only had my original seal that came with the cooker about 4 months- it went bad (I did oil it like they advised)so we shall see how long this one lasts. I only use the cooker once or twice a month.
