Yes, it looks like a toilet. This pet fountain dishes up a sense of humor for pet owners in addition to fresh drinking water for cats and dogs. To operate, fill any clean, 2-liter plastic soda bottle with water and invert into the fountain’s rear holder; then simply plug the AC adapter into the wall and the fountain starts circulating. Water is purified through a charcoal filter and kept at a constant level. A handle on the 'toilet tank' adjusts the flow of the stream, while the removable splashguard eliminates water noise. Since flowing water is appealing to pets, this toilet substitute may discourage them from drinking from the real thing. The fountain measures 17 by 7 inches, runs surprisingly quietly, and holds the equivalent of six bowls of drinking water. Well, once you mastered the art of getting the water bottle into the funnel without spilling it, the next obstacle is getting the funnel attached to the body. The key is attaching the bottle to the funnel while the bottle is upright. Then invert the bottle and attached funnl over the opening. Sounds difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it's simple. These 2 bad reviews do not surprise me. As with other Lentek product, this does not work well. Noisy. Poorly made. Also, their customer service is a joke.

This water dish is almost next to impossible to fill up without spilling water all over the floor.I have tried several different ways to fill it up and they have all failed to keep the floor from getting wet.Imagine taking a full 1 liter bottle of water and attempting to place it upside down into a hole the size of the neck of the bottle without spilling it.Even if you use your finger to cover the opening you will eventually have to move it out of the way and the funnel area cannot funnel it away ... The cats loved it.But the pump stopped working six weeks after purchase.The box was recycled during the holidays so now I'm stuck with an expensive water bowl that I cannot return.Ouch.
