Rating: - Blender does a great job
I use this blender to mix protein shakes before and sometimes after workouts, and it really does a good job of blending the powder and milk in a short amount of time.

I was hesitant to buy this model because it was so inexpensive I thought it might be flimsy or lacking power compared to some of the others I was considering, but the price was so good I couldn't resist. I'm glad, because it's great. So far I've used it for scrambling eggs (nice & fluffy) and making smoothies. Very solid, easy as heck to clean, and more powerful than I expected.

Wonderful for making smoothies, refried beans, creamy potatoes, quickly pureeing soups that call for transferring batches to food processor - just stick it in the pot and it blends in a few seconds. It creams hard frozen bananas just like ice cream.I just put my food processor way up high in the "little used" storage area of my kitchen because this Rival hand blender makes it unnecessary.
