Henckels Twin Sharp Duo knife sharpener is suitable for allknives with a fine edge, with the exception of coated knives. Thestainless-steel sharpener comprises two modules, which are marked onthe sharpener. The first module features steel wheels for coarsesharpening and presharpening, and the second module uses ceramic wheelsfor fine sharpening and smoothing. This sharpener works well for bothright- and left-handed people, features rubber feet so it won't skid onthe countertop, and measures approximately 8 inches across and 3 inchestall, so you can store it in a drawer or display it in a small space.To use, place the knife sharpener on a flat surface, pressing downslightly with one hand. Draw the knife blade with a little pressuretowards yourself, repeating up to five times for the dullest blades.For very blunt knives, use the first module and then the second. Kniveswith a bit of bluntness may require only the first module to bring backthe original sharpness. Check the results by cutting into a sheet ofpaper.

WOW! This is an incredible sharpener. I sharpened all my knives and wow what a difference. I bought one for myself and another to give to someone.

We have a full set of Henckles and needed a good sharpener.This is not the greatest.It will provides a good edge but it takes a lot of work and the edge could be better.Almost sorry I got it.:o<
Rating: - Pretty Darn Good - but not like "new" edge, but FAST
Having tried sharpening my Henkle and other knives on what goes for sharpening stones these days (small), the metal in the knives is so hard it can be very tedious and if you are not careful the results are not so hot either.As we don't have a lot of time to spend sharpening, our knives would tend to get dull - which was the reason I bought good knives in the first place.

I thought this was great when I got it.Now, after several years it doesn't do a darn thing.

Good product for the home. You are not going to get razor sharp knifes lke a professional sharpening but not bad.
