After buying generic ink cartridges on-line at various ink cartridge suppliers and having to return them because they are dried out, I now use HP Ink Cartridges and think Amazon prices are very good.For my HP 5610, I buy the 56 rather than the 27 black ink cartridge.

Presently the Amazon price for a new one, especially for customers who have Prime, is unmatched.You might save a few bucks with refurbs, but I sure haven't had much luck with them.Should you go with a refurb, be sure that you use your printer on a regular basis.They dry up faster than new ones, requiring multiple recleanings (and wasting of the "good" cartridge's ink) and occasionally simply refusing to come back to life. You're better off going to CVS to get a refill before buying this refill.I purchased it and my printer would not pick it up.Went and purchased one from the store, had no problem with it.

it come empty no inkmay be sitting long at store ink was dry i never use .
