The patented rings provide a hi-lo cooking surface that gives food little to stick to, and the additional coating of non-stick material closes up any loopholes. My wife loves this stuff. I have added several pieces over the last year. Excellent non-stick cooking but must be hand washed for it is not dishwasher safe.

I have cooked pasta in this several times- it cooks evenly and the pasta does not stick. The pot is easily cleaned by hand-washing. I LOVE the strainer lid!

I used it for the first time this evening and it was great! The lid fits tightly and locks into place so it's very easy to drain the cooking liquid without worrying about the main ingredient ending up in the sink. I have a set of Circulon Classic cookware that I bought four years ago and it still looks almost new (and I cook at home almost every day). I've owned this pot for over a year and absolutely love it. No more fussing with a separate colander to strain spaghetti. The pot is stick-free and easy to clean, too. It's a must-have item.
