Frankenpooh
A spooky theme runs through several stories in this collection. 'The Monster Frankenpooh' finds Dr. Von Tigger turning Pooh into a somewhat familiar-looking, scary creature. 'Things That Go Piglet in the Night' features the characters on a ghost chase, and 'Pooh Moon' finds Pooh and Piglet searching for honey while everyone else assumes they're missing--not just missing, but taken by the Grabme Gotcha. Charming visuals, terrific characters, touching stories. A winner.
Spookable Pooh
It's a rainy day, and Pooh and his friends are spending it in Christopher Robin's attic. Two stories from the delightful animated series follow: 'A Knight to Remember,' which finds thetimid Piglet transported to a magical kingdom, where he fights a dreadful dragon, and 'Rock-a-Bye Pooh Bear,' in which Piglet has a nightmare and is afraid to go back tosleep. That leaves it up to Pooh, Rabbit, and Tigger to show how bad dreams don't have to come true. As always in the Pooh series, the animation is better than average forTV/video (and even charmingly quaint), and the characters are great fun to be with. --Tom Keogh

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wonderful tape
My son loves this tape - he watches it over and over. These older Winnie the Pooh stories are great. They don't have the intensity of the newer movies - which is just right for young children.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - I Like Winnie the Pooh, But...
...do they realize how much they're charging for a one hour DVD?

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - My daughter would give this 5 Stars
I would give it 2 stars, so we met in the middle. My 35 month old loves this movie, but it drives me crazy. She wants to watch it all the time. I wouldn't mind if it was like the real Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but it is just a bunch of silly stories. I wish they had come up with some new Pooh storied for this DVD, but they just put 5 older ones . There also needs to be more bonus features. Oh well! Maybe next year

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Spooked a 2-year Old
When this DVD was first watched, the adults in our household thought that these Winnie the Pooh stories did a very good job introducing ghosts to the 23 1/2 month old in the house. However, in recent days we have decided to hide this movie because it has caused the 23 1/2 month old to worry about ghosts now, even though we told her and she agrees with us verbally that ghosts are not real. This little girl is an avid movie watcher and has an amazing concentration level when it comes to watching ... Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Overall Good
3 and a half stars. Ok the good stuff: This has nothing really scary at all in it, so its pretty good for very young kids. Its also Pooh, so its just plain fun to watch. Tigger is hilarious! The few things I was disappointed with were the length, around 60 minutes for both programs(5 shorts in total), and the box said 70, and it should have had "Boo to You Too" to make it even more 'halloweenish'.
My favorite was "Frankenpooh", but it was only 5 minutes long! "Things that go Piglet in the Night" ... Read More
