After reading the reviews here and elsewhere, I decided on this Rival 3735WN 3-1/2 Quart Slow Cooker. I've used it several times now, and I am so happy I bought this. It replaced a crockpot that had finally gone out. This model made me realize that the old one was not working properly for years.
I wish I had bought this a long time ago!

Rating: - nice size, great removable insert
The size of this slow cooker is just right for singles/couples.Smaller ones aren't big enough to accommodate most recipes (even when cut in half), and if you are cooking for one or two, you don't need a huge family-sized cooker.

Rating: - Just the right size- just what I was looking for!
This crock pot is perfect for one or two people.It cooked evenly, not overcooking and the roast I cooked was very tender after cooking on low for 10 hours.The oval shape also lends itself to cooking odd shaped meats.Afterwards, I just put the stoneware in my dishwasher, making clean up a snap.
