Amazon.com:
Gay old Paris has always had a soft spot for 'le jazz,' and so it is that the French compilation Saint German Des Prés Café 2 leans toward the jazzier side of dance music. It's not an entirely original concept, but the choice of tracks happens to be second to none, drawing from a host of respected house, nu-jazz, broken beat, and downtempo artists, as well as some 'real' jazz musicians like American legend Herbie Hancock (with his track 'The Essence') and contemporary Norwegian star Bugge Wesseltoft (with the multitextured 'Change'). Featuring artists like Beady Belle ('Game'), Mo' Horizons ('Hit the Road, Jack'), and Kenny Dope ('Mr. Dope'), SGDPC 2 may be a mouthful to say, but it has all the mellow house, warm horns, liquid rhythms, and soulful head nods you'll need to make a perfect summer evening soundtrack.--Paul Sullivan

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - GreatCD!
Great CD! All ofthe songs on this CD delivers... Great sounds and have no regrets about purchasing this jewel. Get it! You will not be disappointed!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not as good as CafeI
Feels more like dance-electro then jazz. Some of the tunes are rough sounding, and the improvised skipping between tracks is annoying. You'll be happy with a used copy.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - very good electro jazz cd
I'm just listening this cd now, i had done it many times and it's still apleasure listening to it. if you're a fan of nu jazz (ie saint german -the dj- or the remixes from dj smah on phonography) buy it with the volume 3 (i think it's even better than the #2)...if you are one of those guys that are terrified in listening electro jazz and remixes buy as a first choice the volume 3...you'll probably change idea and 'll buy also the other two volumes..

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Nice, Very Nice
I highly recommend this. Great for a party or listening in the car. Track #18 is my favorite, #3 is a little to clubish. Also goes well ithe Verve Remixed.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - 4.5 actually...
This is a tremndous CD.If you are at all a fan of Jazz, or are looking for a good CD to hear what it is all about, I can recommend this one with haste.Quite frankly, every song on this CD is at least good, and most are exellent.I also enjoyed how the last beat of one song, is tied in with the first beat of the next song.To go with this, the order in which these songs are placed makes this effect work even better. The CD starts out with some instrumental, "drummy" beats with a blaring trumpet ...
