Works just as described although the cable can be a little bit of a little get in the way pain due to it exiting from the side of the reader.

I said goodbye to download connection problems with my camera! This little card reader worked perfectly for me right away. No driver, no software - just plug it in and go!

It must had been USB 1.0, there were no spec. when I try to transfer 2gb worth of pictures, it took 14 minutes !
