One of Rösle's superb kitchen tools, this 9-inch garlic pressminces even unpeeled cloves of garlic with a cunningly engineered levermechanism that requires minimal pressure. Another nice touch is themincing head that flicks open for easy rinsing. Pressing the handlesafterward locks them together for storage. Like all Rösle tools,utensils, and Open Kitchen storage components, the garlic press is madeof 18/10 stainless steel for rustproof beauty and long-lastingdurability. The round handles have a satin finish to conceal fingermarks (in pleasing contrast to the mirror-finish head). I use a great deal of crushed garlic in all my cooking. Most of the garlic presses I have owned required a great deal of pressure and were a pain to clean. The Rosle was a great find. It really makes it quite easy to press the garlic and the swing out device makes it a cinch to clean. This is really the best garlic press on the market and worth every penny.

I love this garlic press so much I bought 4 of them!!!We eat a lot of garlic and usually 2 or 3 presses are in the dishwasher.I've owned and tried dozens of presses; including Kuhn Rikon Epicurean, which I find to be a very close second best; but this one beats all.Easy to use, easy to clean, presses garlic very well, sturdy and made to last!I don't ever want to be without this Rosle garlic press.

This thing is Awesome.Its Sturdy, Easy to Clean (Due to removable / hinged Strainer)and its Beautiful.I've owned this for over 2 years and love it.It is one of my favorite Tools.Second only to my Un-meltable Spatulas from William Sonoma.

I thought this garlic press was a little over priced when I got it, but I had a gift certificate so I decided to go ahead and splurge.After 4 months, I am very glad I got it and I think it's well worth the price.It's very sturdy and the weight of the handles helps make it easier to press the garlic.The fact that the part with the little holes swings out so you can get to every corner to clean it is really nice too.It even goes fine in the dishwasher.

And it works very nicely.
(mind you I don't think it's all that easy to clean)
