Product Description:
A boy in a wheelchair stops a werewolf with his uncle and sister. From a stephen king story.Studio: Paramount Home VideoRelease Date: 08/22/2006Starring: Gary Busey Megan FollowsRun time: 95 minutesRating: RDirector: Daniel Attias

Amazon.com:
Corey Haim (back when he was still cute) and his souped-up hot-rod of a wheelchair are all that stand between a sleepy little New England town and a ferocious full-moon killer in Stephen King's adaptation of his novella Cycle of the Werewolf. This minor entry into the werewolf canon lacks the scares and sense of humor of superior hirsute thrillers The Howling and An American Werewolf in London, but pays off in some nice casting touches. Gary Busey is loyal to the end as Haim's beer-guzzling Uncle Red, Twin Peaks's Everett McGill cuts an unsettling figure as the town minister, and fleshy B-movie icon Lawrence Tierney (Reservoir Dogs) is the gruff bartender who breaks up bar fights with a baseball bat called 'The Peacemaker.' The monstrous wolf beast, a towering mountain of fangs and fur, is the creation of Carlo Rambaldi (E.T.). --Sean Axmaker

This is a classic (1980's)scary werewolf movie.Even though the werewolf is kind of cheesy by today's movie standards, this movie never fails to deliver shivers up & down my spine!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Small Town Predation...
I remember reading Stephen King's(short) CYCLE OF THE WEREWOLF when it came out. While I found it somewhat enjoyable, I felt like it was a fairly blah, hollow story. So, when SILVER BULLET opened at the theatre, I wasn't all that excited about it. Well, I went to see it and was pleasantly surprised! King wrote the screenplay, and fleshed out his tale by taking the time to develop the characters. I would say that Mr. King added some much needed warmth to the overall story. He also put in some interesting ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Stephen King thriller
"Silver Bullet" is a film adaptation from one of Stephen King's stories.I have not read the story but have been told that it doesn't actually follow the screenplay that well.As for the movie, I was pleasantly surprised by this werewolf film. The characters are simple yet believable and they generate ample suspense.I would recommend this film to anyone who is a fan of King's work.Make sure to watch all the way up to the very end, you won't be disappointed.
