I bought this to make pancakes. I didn't feel it did a good job. Maybe that is because of it's size, but I thought that because of the material, it is supposed to carry heat evenly to all areas of the griddle. I use a frying pan instead (also by All-Clad) which I find works much better. But after reading the other review, I will try it for cookies, and other baking. That wasn't something I thought of.

I purchased the griddle because it was beautiful! I did have my doubts on whether or not I would use it but I find myself reaching for this pan all the time! I have several pieces by All-Clad and am very impressed with the quality. The griddle is large and actually measures 15 inches in diameter not including the handles. Total diameter at its largest point is close to 17 inches. I found it too large to comfortably use on a single burner on the stovetop and find myself using it in the oven more. ... Read More
