The pressure cooker works on all stovetops including induction. A special, durable, stainless steel exterior and interior are thoroughly hygienic. To clean, simply detach the entire hande and rinse under the tap - the pot cleans with limited effort as well.

I have owned one of these for 15 years. It works perfectly. You must not overfill the cooker. This would contribute to it not working properly.
I use it for soups, pasta sauce, & stews. If you use it for bean soup you must be very careful. It is necessary to soak the beans overnight and not fill the cooker more than half full.

i purchased a 2 1/2 qt WMF pressure cooker. from the beginning the valve that closes by means of the steam pressure lifting a 'ball-bearing' to close a hole in a rubber safety plug sometimes closed, sometimes did not.
once when it did not i was out of the room: burned pot; burned contents; fire alarms; smoky smell in house for weeks.

I bought this for my mom who likes cooking multi-grains with it.She was extremely happy with it: simple to use, solid built quality and easy to clean.All was well until it developed an unexpected leak.Because it happened after the 30-day period, Amazon told me to deal with the company directly.When I called, the nice person shipped a replacement immediately and arranged to pick up my defective one with sincere apology.
