That means calibrations are printed on the cup's sides, as is conventional, as well as on a patented guide inside the cup that's angled so it can be read from above. The result is that this cup doesn't have to be held up--or bent down to--in order to determine how much liquid it contains. Bought this product because you could see inside measure rather than outside the cup.Was not disappointed!!!

I think it works really well for measuring.Ithink it is important to use for liquids rather than solids.It is easy to pour and the measurements are clear.
I would manually wash in warm, soapy water (instead of dishwasher) to improve the durability and help the product last longer.

This angled measuring cup is so much easier to read.The large rubber handle seemed a bit awkward for a light plastic cup but it turns out the handle really keeps the cup steady which is good. I got one as a gift and bought two for my mom and MIL.They love it too!

I have two each of the 1/4-cup, 1-cup and 2-cup Oxo measuring cups, and one of the 4-cup ones. I actually have a ton of measuring cups, but these are the ones I grab first.
