Rating:  - one of the better kids' magazines
My son is 8 and a sports freak.When this magazine arrives in the mailbox, he jumps on it and reads every word.It helps him stay up on the latest so he can be the "expert" out on the playground!
As a mom, one thing I like about this magazine is that in addition to covering the major sports (baseball, football, etc.) they also have features about less common sports from time to time.
I wish there was a bit less advertising, of course, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead ... Read More

Great mag to get kids active and interested in fitness and a nice addition for reading material. Good motivational articles from professional athletes to other kids across the country.Got a 2 year subscription as a 5th grade graduation gift for my little brother.

This is a GREAT magazine.I have a 10 year old son that reads it from front to back!He's required to read at least 20 minutes daily and when his magazine arrives in the mail it's never an issue to get him to read.Thank you Sports Illustrated for making a Kids version!

I purchased 2 SI for Kids magazine subscriptions ~ one for my son and one as a birthday gift for his friend. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, as the first issue arrived just in time for summer reading. Delivery was sooner than the time frame estimate originally provided. The magazine comes with a sheet of special sports trading cards ~ an added bonus that the boys love.
All in all, we are very happy with our purchase and the price offered by Amazon!

The magazine is fine, but I changed the address it was supposed to be sent to immediately after ordering and 6 months later it still comes to me instead of the intended recipient. Very frustrating!
