I have used Nikon binoculars in 8x40 and 10x50 and these are excellent for glassing while hunting. I liked the idea of having a zoom feature so as to examine subjects in more detail when necessary, but zoom binoculars don't have a great reputation from what I have read.I purchased the 10-22x50 with some apprehension and am I ever glad I did. Not what I expected from NIKON.. The Zoom only works good to about 3 to 4 hundred yards, after that it is blurry & hard to focus. also the zoom lever is not what you would expect from Nikon, it has a very fragil feelin to it. I would have been better to buy it without the ZOOM. If not for the Zoom it is a good binocular, for the price.

Great binoculars.The zoom is perfect for sporting and field events.A little heavier than I had anticipated but still easy to support.Get a tripod if you need to view for extended periods of time.

The lens are powerful but are somewhat blurry.Also, this is quite heavy and not for prolonged use.

I got these binoculars and the image was clear and crisp. I was very impressed with the zoom distance, and still being so clear. This is a top of the line binocular and very worth the price.
The binoculars come with a carrying case, protective lens covers, and a strap. These are easy to use, but a tripod is recommended.
