I have never made ice cream before, nor did I know much about it.My first batch (I did not use the pre-bagged stuff) was awesome, although it did take longer than the directions said.A bit of freezing and the taste couldn't be beat - and I used skim milk, evap skim-whole milk rather than cream, etc! I received the Rival ice cream maker as a special gift for X-mas from my son. He and everyone else knows that I am a complete ice cream fanatic.
