Constructed of extra-thick aluminum, these heavypots and pans conduct heat quickly and uniformly (no hot spots) andwon't warp. Their handsome, charcoal-gray exterior is harder than steeland resists scratching and denting. Inside, they're coated withDuPont's exceptionally durable Autograph nonstick that readily releasesfood. Stainless-steel handles have an attractive satin-finish. Thehandles are rounded for comfort, hollow to stay cool on the stovetop,oven-safe to 500 degrees F, and have hanging holes. This 12-inch stir- fry pan has a helper handle and a rounded bottom that's perfect forcooking Asian-style food.
Unlike conventional hard-anodized pots and pans, this cookware isdishwasher-safe because its titanium-composite exterior is nonporous.Nevertheless, its virtue of being dishwasher-safe is not unlimited. Toprevent pots and pans from discoloring in a dishwasher over time--andto prevent voiding the lifetime warranty against defects--themanufacturer's cleaning instructions about water temperature (120 to140 degrees F) and detergent (mild, with a phosphate content less that7-1/2 percent) must be strictly observed. I've had this cookware for about 4 years. It is not truly dishwasher safe. Over time the exterior has become quite dull and ugly. It seems to have faded in an inconsistent way. Even though this cookware has a "lifetime" warrantee, Anolon will not replace the cookware if it becomes damaged from being cleaned in the dishwasher.

I bought this pan because I needed a new wok. I'm normally not a big fan of non-stick pans because I cook a lot of Asian foods that normally require high temperatures. But after reading the reviews, I bought this pan to try it out. It has performed very well. I do have to spend a bit more time preheating the pan, but because of its heavy mass, once this pan is hot, it remains hot. Cooking Asian foods in it is a breeze. One of the best I have ever used.
Very easy to clean and not too heavy, compare to some of the other ones I had in the past. It is not light though, my wife does have trouble handle it using just one hand.
NO lid.
for the past month, I am truly happy with it. my sisiter has a similar one for about 2-3 years and it is still going strong.
