The Weekly Standard is where the advocates of militarism and corporatism share the thoughts cobbled together by various industry lawyers, think tanks, and PR agents PR! - A Social History of Spin.
It is regularly promoted through other avenues of right-wing cultism, like the Limbaugh show and all the little Limbaughs Echo Chamber: Rush Limbaugh and the Conservative Media Establishment.

Rating:  - Weekly Standard - a MUST for conservatives!
I cannot go a week without my Weekly Standard (well maybe the 2 weeks they seem to take vacation in the summer)I would recommend it to even my liberal friends (if they were open-minded enough to read it!)

I ordered two subscriptions as Xmas gifts at $48.00 each.
In January I ordereda gift subscription from the publisher on the net and the cost was only $36.00.
That is quite a difference.Of course I will look more carefully in the future when ordering books etc.

Its a good magazine that doesn't have hysterical or over hyped pieces. While I do not always agree with the conclusions of the writers, the magazine does what Time, Newsweek etc do not do. Make one think.I also applaud them for being honest and having articles taking the currant administration to task for failings and for being honest in challenging conservatives to get their act together.
