Product Description: For 2 or more players
Go hog wild with the pig-tastic game, Pass the Pigs. Players attempt to rack up points by rolling the pig dice - but if they're not careful they might 'Pig Out' and lose all their points. Pass the Pigs is the sizzlin' fun, shakin' bacon game!
Editorial Review: How's your tolerance for puns? You'll need some for Pass the Pigs, asimple game of chance built around a pig theme. Instead of dice, you roll twocute pink piglets, and you gain or lose points depending on how the crittersland. For example, if both land on all fours, called a 'double trotter,' you get20 points; if they land lying opposite each other, called a 'Pig Out,' you gainno points and cede your turn. There are a number of other rules as well as avariation called 'Hog Call.' This would be a good travel game (the pigs, instructions, and scoring pad fit in a small, tidy box) or a fine present forsomeone who's, well, into pigs! --Elisa Murray
Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Fun game for everyone This game is simple but very fun. It is good for families or groups of friends. I would recommend this game to anyone.
Rating: - Pass the Time... This is a small, sturdy, and creatively contained game.Evaluate your expectations of it.It's clever to give and receive but the novelty wears off quickly.Still, for passing time it's far more fun than tic tac toe.Long term, we'll keep in the car for doctor appointments and such.
Rating: - Never leave home without it We purchased this about 10 years ago and it goes everywhere. The rules are based on the dice game "Crap out". We modify them to create a game that can be stopped at anytime. We play with them while waiting for appointments, at restaurants or even while waiting for the car to be serviced. The only downside is that the dots have worn off but we just used a sharpie and put them back on.
Rating: - lots of fun for 6-12 year old kids, and adults too My boys get a big kick out of playing this game. I love that it comes in its own portable case. We had a similar one years ago that came in a big box. It also is good in learning to add but I'd say the educational value isn't its main positive. It's just a fun thing to toss pigs on the table and see how they land. We even take it to the nursing home and play it with the residents and they love it too. Even though they can't always figure out their points.
Rating: - Oink If you need a fun game that is so different from any other, this is the game for you.I bought this for friends who are real "game" players. They have every game you can think of but when they received Pass the Pigs they couldn't wait to play and now recommend it to all their friensd. My 5 yr. old grandson plays, too, and loves it.
