Item received in great shape. Specific purchase for making pollenta using a double boiler.Worked like a charm.The longer it cooks the creamer is gets.

Good size.Easy to handle.Fit most 3 1/2 to 4 quart sauce pan.Yes the melted chocolate will stick in the rim.

This product is excellent when used wiht the matching 4 1/2 quart sauce pot.It conducts heat extremely well and my chocolate chips melted much faster than with other double boilers.
