Yes it's just a power cord that I have been using on my GPSMAP 60CSx for the past couple of years. But if Garmin had given this more than one second of thought, they would have positioned the wires (at the GPS end of the cord) 90 degrees differently. The problem I have had is that when used with Garmin's windshield mount, the cord is nearly impossible to plug into the GPS once the GPS is in the mount, so you must plug in the cord before inserting the GPS. This adapter is OEM and perfect for when i am using my GPS in the car. The cord is plenty long and the wire is nice and thick - not some thin, cheap product.

I thought the pins on this item were lining up wrong and was afraid to use a bit of pressure to push the adapter onto the unit.After talking to Garmin customer service and making sure the slot on the adapter was lined up, I confirmed this is the correct item.I was so worried about bending the pins, but this is an EXACT fit.
