Editorial Review:
Product Description: The haddock is baked to sweet flaky perfection, but you can't very well bring it to the table in a baking dish and that's where the tricky part comes in. Getting a delicate piece of fish from pan to plate can be a test of coordination, nerve, and timing. Unless of course you have a fish turner, which not only turns fragile fish neatly and safely but allows you to get it to a plate in one piece.
Amazon.com Review: Renowned worldwide for its cookware collections, All-Clad now makes kitchen accessories, and that's welcome news to serious and professional cooks. This 14-1/2-inch turner is a perfect example of the tools' professional-grade quality. It's made of heavy 18/10 stainless steel that is polished to a mirror finish. The handle, which features the same famous design used in All-Clad's cookware, is grooved on the top and rounded on the bottom for comfort and holed in the end for hanging on a hook or peg. This turner's 8-by-4-inch head makes it possible to flip fish in a pan or on the grill and serve it while keeping it intact. The head is perforated to prevent fish from sticking to it and to drain away any cooking fat. All-Clad tools are dishwasher-safe and carry a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - All-clad handles need a re-design We use the small butter warmer for everything from warming said butter to creating reduction sauces. This past spring, we needed to have another but couldn't find a duplicate to our Kitchen-Aid counterpart, so we went with the All-Clad. The little All-Clad version does a fine job--it heats quickly and controllably and is as sturdy a pot as you'll find. That said, I hate the handle. In fact, the reason we do not own any other All-clad products is because of the uncomfortable angle of the handles. ... Read More
Rating: - Very solid I got this for handling small pizzas and it worked like a charm. Very solid, feels good in the hand.
Rating: - all-Clad What can I say...All-Clad makes beautiful, high quality, useful products. The fish turner is great. It also works great for taking large enchiladas out of the baking dish.
Rating: - Very good, but awkward This is a fine product that does the job well of turning large easy-to-crumble items. However, it is very large and hard to store without dominating the utensil drawer. It is fairly heavy due to its size and metallic composition.
Rating: - Amazing cookware I received a few all clad products (the paella pan, sauce pan, and a fry pan) for graduation and they are excellent.Despite not being teflon, food doesn't seem to stick and clean up is easy. The handles don't get hot even though they're metal too (they do get a little warmish, so be careful just in case).I'm not sure if I'm supposed to or not, but I put them in the dishwasher and haven't had any problems. This specific pan is great for items like pasta w/ cheese and veggies.I love that it ...
