This electric knife works so poorly I cannot believe that it is being sold. Anyone who gives it a good rating must not know how an electric knife works or, I got a defective one.
It was an EFFORT to slice through a turkey breast. I finally got out a regular carving knife. This electric knife is a piece of junk.

I used this last night for the first time for carving my T-giving turkey. It STINKS. The handle, when slick with grease from the turkey, is nearly impossible to hold. Your hand slips forward and it is nearly impossible to push the button. I had to use two hands to hold it, which is less than desirable. Hamilton Beach has always been an excellent product. This one is no exception. It even came with a carving fork which I didn't expect. You can't go wrong with this product.

After 2 years with this product, it has been a miracle! The wife even quit locking herself in the bathroom during Turkey Carving time now every time we use it. Just a wonderful. easy to use & clean product. When something works, it just works!. This is one of those things.

I purchased this knife to replace an old one that had worn out.This knife is VERY hard to hold while activating the blades.I am not a wimp but this is difficult and tires the hand.Also, the blades do not cut nearly as well as my old set did.As soon as I can, I am buying a different electric knife and throw this away. It's JUNK!
