Product Description:
Amazon.com Review: Round, perfect apple rings are simple with this corer by Oxo. With itsdurable stainless-steel head, it slices swiftly through fruit; just shake it to get the core out of the tool. Use it to make pristine baked apples and apple rings, or try it with pears. A soft, oversized, nonslip rubber handle absorbs the pressure the work puts on your hands. With a large hole for hanging, storage is easy. Cleanup is easy, as well--like all Oxo Good Grips tools, this is dishwasher-safe. --Laurie Notaro
Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Great! I use this corer everyday. It is very easy to use and works great.I have had it for about a month now and it is the best corer I have had.I would recommend it.
Rating: - good grip, good job. hey, it takes out cores. It's hard to get too excited about about that but hey...

Rating: - Husband now prepares own apples! I like eating apple wedges with skin on, and so does my husband. However he doesnt like to fiddle with paring knives and I sometimes skip this healthy snack, just from laziness. It sometimes seems a lot of work performing the usual quartering and then cutting out little pieces of core from the quarter, ending with core bits and seeds and juice dripped around.I decided to try a corer, so I initially purchased another brand of corer, last month , but after one use I repackaged it and took it back ... Rating: - Instant Discoloration This corer was a waste of money. The surfaces of the fruit turn brown instantly everywhere the corer touches. At first I thought it was the type of fruit - an apple variety I don't normally use - but the same instant and ugly browning occurred on 4 varieties of apples and 3 types of pears. Even sprinkling lemon juice on the fruit immediately did not stop the discoloration. Every piece of fruit touched by this corer had to be retrimmed.
